Thousands of high school and college students partner with the Motor City Blight Busters annually to help fulfill our mission.
Our connection to Detroit’s youth is vital to our continued success. In an effort to continue to foster those relationships, Motor City Blight Busters is offering four unique positions to Detroit students. No, you won’t be getting us coffee or checking the mail. You will be rolling up your sleeves and gaining real world experience in Non-Profit Management, Project Management, Volunteer Coordination, Digital Media and Urban Agriculture. Each internship requires at least five hours a week of commitment on-site for a twelve week period. Internships are currently available to those seeking college credit, fulfilling honors requirements or community service requirements.
Interns will be mentored and allowed to lead projects over the 12 week term. Preference is given to those in the Brightmoor, Old Redford area of Northwest Detroit.
Those interested should email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
